Dr. Gillman discovered chiropractic after a disabling back injury (karate) when nothing else helped. It's been a passion ever since. After college, Dr. Gillman was employed in neuropharmacology for the Nova Pharmaceutical Corporation in Baltimore, MD. But, his interest in chiropractic never ceased, and he changed careers. He went to Northwestern College of Chiropractic to earn the doctor of chiropractic degree.

Dr. Gillman began practice in 1991. While providing care to people of all ages, he has particular interest and experience in the treatment of athletes. Post graduate coursework soon followed, and he earned the Chiropractic Sports Medicine degree in 2005. This led to participation in treating athletes at international events, including at the Olympics in Beijing, China. From elite athletes to weekday warriors to the average worker, Dr. Gillman aims to provide everyone with evidence-guided, patient-centered, and outcomes-based care.

Dr. Gillman has presented to medical groups as well as at hospital grand rounds. He has been a guest on cable television programs and at social and corporate groups.
